Merry Mariners Event

Merry Mariner's Cruise to Rum Runners Sept 7th, 2005

	Just to let you all know that we do go to classy restaurants. Unfortunately, on this trip we decided to leave the boats at home due to a bad weather forecast; which turned out to be WRONG.
	When we arrived we were seated in a room by ourselves. Our reputation must precede us.
	Everyone is having a great time and enjoying good food and stimulating conversation.
	Note the number of people sitting at the table on the left. Then look at the number of people who chose to sit with Bill and Susan Shallbetter. Hmmmm...
	Rusty sold tickets and announced the winners. Barb Barbre was the first winner.
	Dick Farr and Mary Lou Battistini both took money home.
	As did Harvey Jaffe and Ted Roever.
	Maybe this is what was keeping many of the boats on their lifts.
